Endeavour Cottages Agency terms and conditions

The Hiring Contract is between the client and the owner of the property for which the booking is made, and is subject to the following conditions. Endeavour Cottage Agency act as agents for the owners and are not principals.

1.            Whilst Endeavour Cottage Agency (hereinafter called "The Agency") uses its best endeavours to ensure the accuracy of all information supplied and details of properties are given in good faith, no warranty is given as to their accuracy and it does not accept responsibility or liability for any loss or damage resulting from information given or statements made whether verbally or in writing.
2.            The Agency acts only as agent for the owner of the property and can give no guarantee or warranty as to the state or condition of the property. The Agency will not be liable for any act, neglect or default on the part of the owner or any other person nor for any accident, damage, loss, injury, expense or inconvenience whether to person or property which the Client or any other person may suffer or incur.
3.            A deposit of 20 percent of the total owed is payable to secure the booking. If the booking is made eight weeks or less before the commencement of the holiday, then the full rent should be paid at the time of booking. If a booking cannot be accepted by the Agency, the full amount paid will be returned within 14 days. If a booking is accepted, the client becomes liable for the balance of rent for the full period of the holiday, which must be paid eight weeks prior to the holiday. If a deposit is paid eight weeks before the holiday or a final payment is made less than eight weeks before the holiday but then the booking is cancelled by the client, we will refund the money paid only if another full booking is made covering the full dates and cost. When the balance of the rent is paid as above, final details of the property, with routing and key holder information are forwarded read above.

If for any reason the deposit and final balance were paid before 8 weeks of commencement of the holiday but then within the 8-week period of the holiday the booking is canceled by the client we can only refund in total if we managed to rebook the property. Within the 8-week period, the client must email Endeavour Cottages so we can open the property for potential rebooking. If we then managed to rebook to any degree financially, we will refund the original client and I will inform the original client immediately by email. All bookings can be viewed live on our website.

If for any reason the property becomes not available for a future booking already made, the agent is not responsible, the owner of the property is fully responsible. Under these circumstances the agent will refund the 20% deposit and any final payment should be refunded by the owner who will have received the payment.
